Let me rest my head a while on this desk and think about it. It goes way beyond ‘because we are tired’. Our Mental Health. Our sharpness to avoid scams. To be a good leader, way beyond the image in your mind of what a leader should be. and your personal images. A deep, uninterrupted sleep focuses a day ahead. Scientists even pinpoint how many hours’ sleep will increase your risk of heart disease, as a mater of fact to consider. That’s a study from the UK, reported in ‘The Independent.. Do you dream? A better question perhaps, do you remember your dreams? Why do we dream?

Some factors affect sleep.

Doom scrolling, streaming video sources, binging a series. 24 hr. News and Sports channels on TV Games on your smartphone. Facebook Reels and Tic Toc videos. Life stressors are included bringing PTSD and other health concerns. Sleep Apnea is a big thing too, have you been tested? this costs $299 Cdn for a test at home, I’m sure a tax deductible item with a federal Disability Tax Credit status. Other health problems are affected by sleep loss include stress, illness in body or others, pain, a lumpy bed with uncleaned sheets. Do you need a new bed perhaps? In March of 2024 we learned that our valued funder the BC Gaming society, rejected our application. Our funds ran dry. Handy Circle changed our website to HTTPS just before that happened. We’ll have to see if it makes money, perhaps with your donations here! It may only exist until the domain expires, and only the Facebook page will be available to request volunteers during tax season. We will continue that work at the very least of what we do until you can do it independently, that is. Help us continue to empower you when you need it.
