Destiny, our mascot. A knitted character sitting in a wooden wheelchair beside an image of the Fraser River and the bridge to the Hart Highlands. You might see Destiny at the Craft Fair or other events.
We are hoisting a Craft Fair again in the Fall of 2025. But how long has it been around? It was started before 2000, moving to Aimhi towards the late 2015s before the Pandemic. It joined our Looney Auction followed by CANDO in a trio of events that helped our organization’s fund raising programs into the 2020s. We returned this year for the first time since the Pandemic, hosting it live at Aimhi. Come for the door prizes, the excitement and the CKPG FunChaser! 50-50 too, know your limit and play within it, we’ll call you if you aren’t here!
As in previous years, it happens over Saturday and Sunday, November 8th & 9th. We open at 10:00AM and we are around till 3:00PM, both days. Door prizes and draws will finish by 2:45pm Saturday and Sunday. You don’t have to be in attendance for the draws. Some vendors may offer draws, but they’ll give you more information on them. We hope to see you all there. You make it happen! How do you get there, you ask? City Transit, Taxi, thumb, private vehicle or mobility device, foot power. Aimhi is at 950 Kerry St. Click for directions. Our Craft Fair is the perfect place to find unique gifts for everyone on your list. We’re in the gym. But wait. Before the date, do you need a table? The cost is $20.00cdn, call 250-613 9403 for Lorraine, or our office at 250-563-1852, email hcrspg@gmail.com.
