At Summerfest 2026, Volunteer Board Member Judy D and Susan S were at the table selling loads of tickets!
‘Summerfest’ is an annual event in Prince George, started many years ago. It’s well attended by so many Prince George BC residents and visitors. So much to do, so many diverse vendors to choose from. Very affordable family fun with so much to see. If you missed it this year, shame on you, Plan on being there next year. We had a booth there as well.
At our booth at Summerfest 2026, we were selling BC Lottery 50-50 tickets. Amid the activity happening there, and with announcements from the professional Emcee, we were supported by so many. Many thanks were given! That link above has another draw done every day, not connected to us. Know your limit and play within it. Just like what we were selling at $2.00 per ticket that link has its cost. One happy person won half of the money at Summerfest 2026‘s end, which worked out to $357.50. We made a bit extra in donations, which was separated, for a total of $775 from tickets.
Handy Circle is planning programs and events like our Craft Fair perhaps in November, A ‘Loony Auction’ and of course CANDO. Your support is always appreciated at a level above what we graciously receive from our Gaming grants! We are a part of the community in Prince George, watching it evolve towards access and inclusion for almost a half century. Access for all, expanding BC provincially and nationally. To make a donation at any time, our email address hcrspg@gmail.com accepts donations, and we can give an official Tax Receipt upon request to the same email or 250-563-1852.
