Stay Tuned!

An excuse, please forgive us.

It’s not really an excuse in your eyes perhaps, but perhaps a reason? We apologize for breaking out of the pattern we began by posting weekly. Stay tuned as updates come to our website. This is a server thing, and for some reason, pictures can’t be uploaded on our account they can help us with. Over the summer, beginning in the spring, world events slightly influenced individuals. and perhaps even vacations taken by one of us. Handy Circle performed a last request through that trip, for a client. Ask her about the adventures she took. I will hopefully get back on tract writing quality posts for your reading enjoyment on a schedule like I started, before October. Ty for being patient.

The solution?

One of the first things I hope Lorraine will undertake once back, will be to contact our server to discover any issues. It might take a donation behind this link which we will thank you for considering then clicking. I have a bunch of posts that need pictures for my Search Engine Optomization (SEO) work on a couple of websites, including Handy Circle. Beyond that, the Carefree Society is planning an AGM (Annual General Meeting) to happen on the 4th of September 2025 to be held at 430 PM at Community Futures. You are invited. I’ve got a president’s report to prepare. I do not work on that website. Yet. However, that society is expanding to go beyond the city limits beginning Fall, 2025. It’s Exciting. On another front, the City’s Advisory Committee for Accessibility and Inclusion is going strong, connecting with the BC Accessibility Hub to inspire accessibity committies throughout the ‘Disability Support’ hubs of the city. We can connect too, as can you. Stay tuned, as that committee prepares to add an item on the agenda, to allow those committee leaders to report activates improving civic access and inclusion to the civic committee. Our next meeting is October to begin that. Handy Circle hopes to secure a grant in early 2026, and dedicated volunteers as well as one staff member are working hard towards that end. Wish them luck. All sorts of meeting time to keep us alive.

The issue of the day discussed. An agenda item passed; an action request presented. Funds talked about driving the organization.
